**It's five years old now, so I thought I'd give it away for free. Enjoy..!**

"The Showtime EP blends so many genres, but is probably defined best as down-tempo electronica with a hip-hop feel. Showtime bursts onto the scene, with a fresh sounding release that showcases his talents as a producer, dj and musician. Tracks like ‘Doobe Bop’ and ‘Rare Medium’ are proper head boppers, deep yet bouncy with spaced out sax sounds. ‘Punchy Disco’ lives up to it’s name, with a more solid beat that’s bound to get some dance floor action. While ‘Normality’ and ‘My Soul Fell Out’ provide the down-tempo grooves that round this record out. Listening to these five tracks, you’ll definitely know it’s Showtime..."

Really hard to pick a favourite out of these four tracks that make me want to, against all good sense and character, use the phrase "absolute bangers". The rework of "Mama Said" edges it because it must have been hell itself finding elements to add to that track that didn't end up making it worse not better. Leo Stableford
